When I install Oracle 10gR2 on Red Hat 4 x86-64, I got errors when linking process:
error in invoking target 'install' of makefile ins_ctx.mk
and many others.
I resolved it by installing all the required package both 32bit and 64bit version (if there are 2 version of the package). For 32bit package you need to specify –force option when installing it.
rpm -Uhv --force package_name.rpm
That resolved the linking problem.
